AshaLetia Henderson supports the Senior Program Director with planning, developing, and implementing complex environmental public health programs that promote health with a specific focus on health equity, children’s health, and underserved populations. She assists with program evaluation and quality improvement activities, including data collection, data analysis, and database management, and identifies opportunities to scale NEEF’s health programs.  AshaLetia completed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Public Health Associate Program (PHAP), a competitive two-year intensive training program designed to strengthen the workforce by providing hands-on experiences for early-career public health professionals. Prior to joining NEEF, AshaLetia was deployed to the Florida Department of Health in response to the coronavirus pandemic. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from American University.
